A Thoughtful Approach to Urban Living
Chiville reflects Norrma’s belief that meaningful architecture begins with understanding a place, its character, and the people who will inhabit it.
Located between Olarilor and Neagoe Basarab streets in Brașov, the development brings together 38 apartments within two carefully proportioned buildings, thoughtfully integrated into the existing urban fabric.
With 29 distinct apartment layouts, including duplexes and triplexes, Chiville embraces individuality rather than standardisation. Private gardens, terraces, and loggias create a natural connection between indoor and outdoor living, while the architecture responds to the site’s topography and opens towards the city’s historic centre and surrounding green hills.
Designed by ADNBA, the project was awarded the Collective Housing Prize at the 2021 National Architecture Biennale, recognising its sensitive approach to contemporary residential architecture.
For Norrma, Chiville is an expression of a simple philosophy: thoughtful design, respect for local identity, and the creation of spaces that feel naturally connected to their surroundings.
